BAOA was incorporated on 31st March 2011, with a total of 11 founding members.

First annual general meeting and elections for the governing board held on 1st June 2011 with 31 members on board.

Today, BAOA is the apex trade association for business & general aviation in India. The Association has risen to prominence within the industry, regulators and the Government, by being highly vocal on issues holding back the sector.

BAOA has more than 80 members.
